1.0 Description
The XR-5 Max Race Series will be driven as part of the RACE CAR SERIES 2021.
This is a standard class that is less about the material used and more about having fun racing!

Therefore - standard car / standard motor / standard tires = maximum fun at minimum cost

2nd participant
All drivers can take part in the RACE CAR SERIES.
A DMC membership / license is not absolutely necessary, in this case the organizing club will charge an additional fee to insure the participants. This is to be communicated to the association independently and before the start of the event.

2.1 Mention
Entries for the individual races are to be sent directly to the organizer of the race. The closing date for entries is the Wednesday midnight before the race weekend.

2.2 Entry fee

The entry fee for adults is 25 euros.
The entry fee for young people under the age of 18 is EUR 15.
For double starters in other classes, the 2nd entry fee is € 15.
Drivers without a DMC license will be charged an additional insurance fee of € 5.

3.0 chassis
Only the MCD XR-5 Max Pro Rally chassis with item: M00525001 may be used.

The vehicle is only permitted with original components (tank, air filter, tuned pipe, etc.).
Components may not be modified, changed or adapted. Holes may only be drilled in the side pans for better cooling.

3.1 body
Only the original MCD XR-5 Max Rally body including roll cage may be used.
The front side windows and the rear window may be cut out. Holes may be drilled in the windshield.

Painting
The bodies must be painted. A reference to the original design is expressly desired in order to reproduce a visually appealing driving image of the model vehicles.
The headlights and taillights must be recognizable as such. The panes must be transparent, but may be tinted.
The issued start numbers with the start number assigned (to the driver) and the window sticker "Race Car Series" must be used. This should underline the appearance and the recognition value of the Race Car Series, just like in motorsport on a 1: 1 scale

4.0 Drive / Motor / Coupling
Only the unprocessed, original Zenoah ZG320 standard motor (item: ZG320RC) is permitted.
The ignition must also not be modified.
Only the standard original Zenoah clutch & clutch spring may be used.
The technical inspection reserves the right to open and check the engine.
The engine shut-off switch and marking must comply with the current DMC regulations VG5TW.
The following parts may be changed / installed on the motor side: M726402A / M725302A
The reduction is limited to the following options:
Main gear = 60T. / Pinion = 24T. & 25Z.

4.1 Muffler & air filter
Only the MCD Barracuda tuned pipe (Art .: M750601X) may be used.
The standard MCD air filter or the Ins-Box (Art .: M725801X) can be used.

5.0 tires
The following tires are permitted; everyone can decide for themselves whether they are purchased individually, as a set or fully glued.
M100231 (R / X / XG) = 180mm asphalt tires Blue Soft
M100232 (R / X / XG) = 180mm asphalt tires Blue Medium

6.0 racing mode
Saturday free practice, depending on the schedule and coordination with the other racing classes, you can drive at least 1 lead on Saturday.
There are at least 3 preliminary runs, of which the best is rated. The prelims are scored according to laps and time.
According to the preliminary ranking list, it is divided into sub-finals. Depending on the number of participants, A; B; C ... final extended. Depending on the number of participants, the organizer reserves the right to adjust the duration of the sub-finals (15 minutes) and (30 minutes) to the schedule.
If the outside temperature is over 30 ° C, the organizer reserves the right to have the final at 5 minutes. to shorten.
Refueling is prohibited after the start grid has been called and during the race.

7.0 ratings
Only vehicles that comply with the rules and participate with an original MCD XR-5 Max Rally body including a roll cage are included in the evaluation.

8.0 schedule
Saturday: Depending on the number of participants, exact training times are determined by the organizing club, break regulations / rest periods must be observed.
Sunday: driver briefing / preliminary runs / final runs / award ceremony (exact schedule depending on the organizing club / number of participants / weather conditions)

9.0 violations
Violations of the present regulations and unsportsmanlike conduct will be punished with disqualification for the run or the race or exclusion from the ranking.

10.0 Award ceremony
Trophies for P1-3, plus material prize from a raffle, for the participants who are on site at the time of the raffle.
